ਸੈਂਟਰ ਫਾਰ ਡਿਸਟੈਂਸ ਐਂਡ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵਿਚ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਹੈ। ਮਾਲਵੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿਚ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ, ਸਾਹਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ 1961 ਵਿਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਐਕਟ ਨੰਬਰ 35 ਤਹਿਤ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਇਸ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਨੇਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਨੇ ਖੇਤਰੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਗਿਆਨ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਗਿਆਨ, ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਵਿਚ ਮੋਹਰੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਹੈ।
ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵਿਚ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਫਾਰ ਡਿਸਟੈਂਸ ਐਂਡ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਾਤਨ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇਕ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਕੰਮ-ਕਾਜੀ, ਗਰੀਬ, ਪਛੜੇ ਵਰਗਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਚੇਰੀ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਯਤਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਵਿਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਲੈ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇੱਥੇ ਹਰ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਤ ਯੋਗ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਤੌਰ ’ਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਦਾਖਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ, ਪਾਠ ਸਮੱਗਰੀ ਦੀ ਉਪਲਬਧਤਾ, ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਲੋੜਾਂ ਲਈ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਦਾ ਅਮਲਾ ਪੂਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

Welcome to the Centre for Distance and Online Education, Punjabi University, Patiala. Established under the Punjab Act 35 of 1961 for the promotion and development of the regional language Punjabi, Punjabi literature and culture, the University has a long and glorious record of outstanding achievements.
Punjabi University, Patiala has played a leading role in promoting Punjabi as a medium of learning by developing literature related to various fields of knowledge.
The Centre for Distance and Online Education is amongst the oldest departments of distance education in the country. It has been disseminating higher education among those who are unable to pursue regular education.
Employees of government and private sectors, defence and police personnel, women, learners from deprived sections of society and far-flung areas have been major beneficiaries of the Centre’s programmes. Notably, there is no age bar for admission.
The Centre has highly qualified and experienced faculty across disciplines. The teaching and administrative staff ensures full academic and administrative support, including admissions, personal contact programmes, study material and examinations.
